With rampant unemployment and a concentrated drive towards the creation of small businesses to encourage employment, young and energetic would-be entrepreneurs who lack the knowledge and skills to start their own small business will benefit greatly by attending this course. It is hands-on and covers the four P’s of business – place, price, product and promotion.
SB 01: Small Business Creation
Purpose: to train young people in the basic entrepreneurial skills to start and develop their own micro business
Duration: Ten days
Content: Basic communication and customer care skills; Developing a business plan; Match business opportunities with our skills and knowledge; Match new business opportunities to market needs; Determine financial requirements for the new business; Manage finances; Manage business operations and team.
Minimum requirements: Matric with English
