Shop assistants is often the first person in the store that speaks to customers. A well-presented and informed assistant can assist and serve customers, close the deal and ensure a positive experience for customers.

Vision in Action Training presents two courses preparing candidates to work as Shop Assistants

SA 01:                    Positive sales techniques and Customer Service

Purpose:              to develop the competencies associated with “closing the deal”.

Duration:            Two days

Content:              Customer centricity; Voice, listening, questioning;  Rapport, empathy;  Store policies & procedures; Greeting;   Match products to needs;   Product knowledge;  Sell additional products; Customers’ body language as signals;   Meet objections;    Close sale;   Appreciation;   Build relationships;   CPA.

Minimum requirements:         Matric with English

  • 20-21 April 2017;
  • 4-5 May 2017;
  • 28-29 August 2017;
  • 23-24 October 2017

SA 02:                    Merchandising & Display

Purpose:              to develop the necessary skills in order to create an inviting and positive buying experience for the customer that results in repeat business.

Duration:            Two days

Content:              Marking and ticketing; purpose and types of display;   Safety and care;   Promotional signage;   Maintaining displays;   Stock rotation; Supply chain; networking with stockroom.

Minimum requirements:         Matric with English

  • 30-31 October 2017
